The two witnesses are not empowered to prophesy until the second half of Daniel's 70th week (Rev. 11: 2-3).


The mid-point of Daniel's 70th week is marked by two events:


1. The abomination of desolation is set up.

2. The man of evil stops the daily sacrifice in Israel.
