Spirits are real, and not something you wanna mess with lightly. I got one a couple years ago and it was a very unhappy camper. Flames flared and gales blew in a well insulated basement. But you really want one? Then cheesy as it sounds, easiest way is a ouija board. They have no special power but act as a focus point. Use at least two people, and each person needs to focus. Keep repeating the asked question in your minds. Even if you doubt the board, believe in the spirit or they won't even bother a passing glance. Use clear questions and i suggest a white plain candle. You can use black if you're gonna be a moron, but the candle acts like a beacon and white stands for purity and protection. I hear burning sage helps lift the veil even though i never had to use it.
A new board may take several minutes to open a gate just as new shoes take some adjusting, and just as similar can get some nasty 'holes' and 'tears' with frequent repeated use. Don't hold the pawn down, be sure you are only touching it. Speak in a clear voice. There's no real script to go by but i suggest a greeting, stating your purpose, HIGHLY suggest claiming sanctuary against evil wicked and mischievous spirits. You can call them on purpose if you want but be careful what you wish for. Be sure to declair the veil lifted and gate open and no matter what don't break the circle until they dismiss you, not the other way around.
