Red hair is beautiful and especially on people with blue eyes. Very striking and lovely.

As a kid I got a load of shit for being a red head, even to the point where people picked me for their team last even though I was a better than average player.

It stems in England from the Celtic people being looked upon as inferior or in league with the devil during the dark ages, unfortunately it's an obvious trait and reds are usually in the minority in any class so we're an easy target.

As an adult I actually get a hell of a lot more female attention than my mates and I think it makes them a bit jealous. I have been approached by model agencies but never really followed it up. Guess it's an ugly duckling thing.

I can see why a parent wouldn't want their kids to be ginger as it would mean almost certain bullying at school and as a teen but this bullying also causes a lot of reds to be extra resolved in adult life and prepared for the knocks of being an adult.
