Sathya Sai Baba said North India would sink (into the ocean?) and South India will rise high into the sky. Also many enlightened souls will travel South before this happens.

Check it:

NEW DELHI: The 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Sikkim on Sunday evening was the fourth tremor reported in the country in September so far, according to the India Meteorological Department ( IMD).

There have been a total of 15 earthquakes of significance in India and its neighbourhood, as well as all over the world in September this year. The most high-intensity quakes of 7.0 on the Richter scale each were reported from the South Pacific island nations of Vanuatu (Sep 3) and Fiji (Sep 15).

Sikkim quake India's fourth in September

For hundreds of thousands of years,
The stew in the pot has boiled up
A resentment very hard to level.
If you want to know why
There are wars in the world,
Just listen to the haunting cries that come
From a slaughterhouse at midnight.

I am in my late 60's. I can tell you these earth changes have been building up since the 1990's to an ever-escalating frequency and intensity. I don't know if it is the sun or the planet x thing, or Elenin, or whatever, I just know that this is not because of what they say is improved communications in these matters. Each year gets worse. 2011 is a barn-burner.....and yet the mainstream news makes light of it.......and most people I know do not notice or just say "cycles"......right......

I got into this at the end of 2002 and Earth monitoring... I can tell you the last thing seismologists will EVER admit is that there is an increase in seismicity in the world... once the data shows it is indeed increasing, will they admit to it? I await the time...

All these large Eq appears to pop up in new and different locations. My suspicion is placed on Elenin as the cause of all these large quake. A wimpy comet can't do what ELEnin has been doing. hiding

Oh, Arnie... Namchi is around there...

Myths say that the buddhist monks have been going on top of the hill and offering prayers to the volcano to keep it calm. There is also a Rock Garden just few kilometers up from the town on the way to Samdruptse. Rock Garden offers varieties of Flora. It is a recreation and picnic spot.It offers a magnificent view of Mount Kanchendzonga.Namchi has been identified as the land or orchids and other variety of flowers.

A few days ago the History Channel had a program on called "Mega Quake 10+". In the program they said that the most likely place for a 10+ to hit would be in the Himalayas, Mt. Everest area. When I saw this 6.9, it gave me a chill.

GAUHATI, India - A strong earthquake shook northeastern India and Nepal on Sunday night, killing at least nine people, damaging buildings and sending lawmakers in Nepal's capital running into the streets.

The quake, with a preliminary magnitude of 6.9, was felt across northeast India including the capital of New Delhi. It triggered at least two aftershocks of magnitude 6.1 and 5.3, Indian seismology official R.S. Dattatreyan said. He warned more aftershocks were possible.

At least four people in India's Sikkim state were killed and an unspecified number of people were injured, state police Chief Jasbir Singh told The Associated Press. Nepal's government said five people died and dozens were hurt there.
