Yep... that's what I'm afraid of. I really don't want that to happen. Most of the people I've seen there, look like regular folk, although there are a lot of college students and some "militant-looking" people.

I'm afraid the latter group might just welcome that crap ??

NYPD and Bloomberg let them do this on a weekend which accomplishes absolutely nothing . Do it on aweekday then you see what happens .

Yep it's certainly screwed me over. You are so right, being an activist is a lot more dangerous these days thanks to technology being used for negative purposes.

I know !! That's where MY job went.

And here's the problem.... most of the people there are NOT prepared for the brutality that might be unleashed on them. And you KNOW... that there will be some (from within or otherwise) who will instigate a fight.

I've never been to a protest in my life... but I've watched a lot on Youtube, etc.... there always seems to be ONE asshole in the crowd that sets off the violence.

I've never understood how "GOOD" people can be so gulible !! Yep... I remember Perot. He sucked a lot of people dry. LOL

The problem with "GOOD People" is that we believe in people too much. Secondly we are good our selves and we are NAiVE enough to think that most people are like us.

Secondly because we would never steal, lie or cheat we don't expect others to do this to us.

Which of course in reality is a very dangerous way to think.

Holy Crap... a few minutes ago it was total pandamonium as they were marching. Someone said over 9,000 and growing.

The police were actually being VERY polite. Asking them to stay off the wall, because they didn't want anyone hurt. LOL

Now their back at their "assemblies". I don't know what that's about... but they do that 3-6 times a day ?????

It was crazy just before this !!!!

I sure hope they get the attention they need to make an impact on the "sleepers".

You don't have to be an activist, unfortunately, but those that don't stand for anything will fall for anything...I wasn't an activist and I know what your talking about...anyone who wants to go out there put your sunshades on and a scarf to deter the facial recognition...or get one of those joker masks....but we need to stop these banksters one way or another through peaceful measures.....
