She says its even pattern of puffy clouds covering the sky with lights dancing around in no specific pattern.... she's a little freaked out.

well tell her to enjoy the show. I can't think of anything it would be except craft. unless its some sort of odd lightening, but here in colorado that is always distant and not up dancing in the sky.

Look around for spot lights... they look weird in the clouds if you can't see the base of the lights.

I'm in Decatur and just now saw your post. I went outside and no clouds now....just beautiful clear, starry night.

Wish I had seen this earlier!

I will say that I thought the cloud formations here were very strange today. A mix of many different types all at once.
