I actually just finished reading that book last week.

and.......?

Thought at the end they should of just used the EMP Machine first instead of wasting time breaking in.

While reading it it was easy to see that Gregson Manning was actually Bill Gates. Especially when describing his house.

yeah, but imagine pinning GLOBAL WAR OF TERROR on Bill Gates -- that wouldn't sit well, eh?

But then 'weirder things have happened in 3-letter fun'.

I like his bit about the lone old bank, the classic FRONT company ... he understood the financial aspect of the cyber-WAR OF TERROR, too, Ludlum.

I met him while he was hospitalized, shortly before he died....he told me that he was in the pacific "theater" ww II and needed to write about his experiences in that stressful situation......that is how he started writing......he wrote out everything on legal pad with a number 2 pencil....kind of old school.....when I met he wasn't in good health and enjoyed a regular visit from John barleycorn even while hospitalized....he didn't appear to be in sufficient health to write at that point but I was cogitating that maybe he had a wee bit of help from the alphabets to plant some predictive programming plots into a best selling author's publishing machine.

I've read some of his books. Sounds interesting will have to read. Thanks!

having re-read Robert Ludlum's THE PROMETHEUS DECEPTION, I've just updated my blogpost about about it:

with this crucial paragraph from the speech of a central character bent on utter surveillance domination on a global scale, governments nullified, human liberties quashed:

"No longer will we live in fear of another Oklahoma City Bombing, another World Trade Center, another downed airline. No longer will the U.S. Government need to beg courts to place wire taps on the phones of terrorists and kidnappers and drug lords. Remember, THE PROMETHEUS DECEPTION was originally published months prior to the World Trade Center SECOND ATTACK in 2001.
