Ah, then you are standing in the Refiner's Fire!

It is best to have an experienced guide stand with you . . . for when you can no longer tell the dross from the gold, when you are tired, when you are discouraged . . . some one knowledgeable who can help you stay the course.

. . . and then, to remember, that even the smallest act of kindness may make the biggest difference in some one's life.

Remember, it is not our scale that makes "meaningful value," but God's. He treasures the widow and the orphan - the most vulnerable among us, those with the least power - those are the one's who need our efforts.

And, when you have discerned your calling, dedicate yourself to it with your whole heart. It is what God called you into the world to do - again, big or small, there is no one else but you who can do it. It's why you were invited here to this island Earth. We need you - even if you can't see where it all fits with the big picture, we know we need your gifts.
