That's odd.

To the casual observer it
looks like these scientists are begging
the question by concluding that this
hybridisation occurred from intimate
sexual encounters.

So, what proof have they got that the
hybridisation occurred by natural sexual
transfer of DNA? We know that species can
be hybridized in other ways too.

This fallacy is similar to the argument:
"The grass is wet, therefore it must have rained."
