"1989, but since the original trial, seven of nine non-police witnesses recanted their testimony,"
Hmmmmmmmm? Should those seven witnesses go to jail?
Quoting: jarha from what I can tell from reading about it, those 7 witnesses were under a lot of police pressure
the man may well have been railroaded
he needs a stay and this needs to looked at again
damn, even the Pope stuck up for the guy, and Georgia just gonna kill him anyway.
i hate the death penalty. not in favor of it since I found out that so many innocent folks are executed.
read too many survivors of death roll stories about innocent folks who sat on death role for 10, 15, 20 years and then released due to new evidence.
death penalty needs to go away.
death roll should be reserved only for war criminals (maybe)-- though, life in jail without parole would be a better sentence for a war criminals.
