Canadians suspicious over radiation testing of seafood — Official “puzzled” gov’t withholding where samples were taken
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CIFA) has deemed fish tested in the wake of the Japan nuclear disaster as radiation free, but will not divulge where samples were taken from. [...]

The agency did not answer repeated questions about where the samples were taken from in B.C., saying only that they were came from various processing stations. [...]

Stó:lō Tribal Council fisheries advisor Ernie Crey said he is puzzled at the agency’s reticence about where the fish were taken from.

“It’s this kind of response from government officials that give rise to suspicion among Canadians,” Crey told Indian Country Today Media Network. “There is simply no good reason to withhold this information from the public.”

Testers could have picked the fish up from a processing plant, caught them on a recreational fishing charter or bought them from a commercial boat, Crey said. [...]

have had as high as .246 uSv/hr.

Rain generally jumps to about .19 uSv/rh too .278 uSv/hr.

Alberta was as high as .357 uSv/hr on a recent road trip two wks ago Edmonton Alta.

Taking my Lugal's Iodine(10 drops), and Glacier Rock Dust(1/2 tsp in an Acidic Juice) also N.A.C.(n acytal l- cystein daily as my safety net. Little Maple syrup and baking soda as well
Using the rock dust in my garden as well.

And the Canadian Gov.... not trust worthy at all.

They have been involved with the studies on Survivors from Hiroshima since 1945. My grandmother is one of them. repeated small exposures are more dangerous than a single exposure...this is science. Everyone she knew who was a care giver in Hiroshima died of cancer by 1986 no exceptions.

I only found out today that nearly 10% of our 'normal' backround radiation today is actually radiation from the nuclear bomb tests of the 50's and 60's. I'm pretty convinced that the radiation timebomb from Fukushima is being hidden. What the public cannot see hear or smell can't be killing them. The government of any country won't admit any of this. Ever.

So, where do we, as Canadians, go to get radioactive measurements for the area we live in?
I've never seen any measurements posted for Manitoba. We are currently in a steady rain, that is supposed to last two days... Good time to measure.

Because they know that eventually the irradiated fish and water will or already has gotten to canada and the US. As Mike Rivero said, many in Alaska's fishery and crabing fleets are fearing the day that some kid puts on youtube a video of him holding up a fish and putting a geiger counter to it and showing it's radioactive.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

i agree, furthermore they have done an excellent job with cleverly worded retorts against many posts and links as to debunk them.

the fact that this event is the most emergent event to be reported on this site ("doom" wise), it seems to have been nicely debunked by the debunkers.

i guess their money on spin is being well spent.

Typhoon Roke brought evacuation orders and fears of floods to Nagoya city in central Japan today as it approached the main island of Honshu on a course toward the crippled Fukushima Dai-Ichi nuclear plant.

More than 1 million people in Nagoya have been advised to evacuate because of Roke and almost 80,000 have been ordered to leave due to flood risk, said Katsuya Kobayashi in the city’s disaster prevention center.
