The Difference Between Being Married And Single
What Is The Difference Between Being Married And Single?

Well most married people are like, “damn I wish I was single again, if just for a week.” While most single people are like, “I just wish I was married so I had someone around all the time.”

What I have learned:

There is no real difference really, except when your married at least know who your not having sex with every night, hehe.

as question to ask, why is marriage always associated with sex? Or life period? why the big focus?

Because sex is awesome. Especially with someone you love.
Here is where I look back.
Here is where you fell.
This is where I got up,
Shaking off my tail
This is where your rope trick

The absence of the physical bond only reflects the absence of the spiritual bond between the two. Seems people who are together in spirit first never really get to that no sex in the relationship stage. Never should have been married in the first place...most likely.

It depends of the perspective.

In men. "thinking" about sex happens almost unconsciously especially during their younger days

[link to www.whatdomenreallythink.com]

So we do associate marriage with sex.

Actually OP made a stereotypical male joke.

The truth is that we all have a 'grass is greener' problem. No matter how well things are going we see other options as better.

I really believe that is the reason for most of the desire for socialism/communism and even more radical changes to occur in America.

I think that was the basis behind no sex before marriage thing...before marriage was perverted by mankind I assume it was supposed to be a declaration that two WHOLE beings (meaning mind/body/soul whole) came together in choice to bond and possibly procreate.

Decisions like that aren't for the drunk horn dog in Las Vegas, talk about taking NO personal responsibility...it's no wonder earth is overpopulated.

Things happen, we age, we suffer illness and injuries, some of which affect our desire and ability to have sex. It really does happen.

But a marriage strong in the other values, the spirituality, friendship, respect, emotional will not be affected if the sex is taken away.

Very true, the kind of energy shared between two people exists well past the physical act of sex stops...in spiritually bonded pairs it continues...

Haha, you ever get this one guys, or...you ever pull this one ladies.

"No I don't want to do anything tonnight"

So your just need to fall asleep so you hit the good old porn, and your wife walks in.

Then you get: "why are you doing that, you don't find me attactive?"

This a trap guys. I have learned to say: "look babe, you may be tired but so am I and I need to sleep, so this can go one way or the other, but the other will require work on your end"

Oooo, and my wife has those little display towels in the bathroom, you know the ones your not allowed to actually dry your hands with.

I ask her, "why do you have towels in the bathroom you can't use."

She says, "They are for decoration and guests"

Well if you ever come over, don't use them because... lets just say I passive agressivly wipe my balls on them often.

Re: The Difference Between Being Married And Single
To me, marriage is your souls recognition of its counterpart in another, creating a feeling and bond that brings peace to you. Where you have weakness, your partner brings you strength, and vice-versa. You actually learn from your partner and change, improving as a person, balancing out your development as a human. You become a better communicator through empathetic listening. You gain true understanding, patience, empathy, selflessness, forgiveness and sacrifice. You seamlessly encounter all of life's emotions and experiences - and with true love - you come out the other side stronger, wiser and as a more positive force for the world.

While physical reinforcement of this bond is nice tounge, it becomes secondary to the emotional support and reinforcement you provide to each other that truly becomes the foundation of your marriage. You teach your children from this and perpetuate the cycle and henceforth, improve the world one person at a time. With true love, you get exactly -or more- of what you put into it. There is an ebb and flow, and certainly no score keeping. There is also forgiveness, understanding that two humans make a marriage and nobody is perfect.

Being single is the lack of recognition of your souls counterpart in another, or the intentional willingness to ignore it. Like love, it is most likely a choice. I am certainly not saying that you are a lesser person if you are single, but being on both sides, I would say there are truths of the heart you perhaps have yet to recognize or experience. Before I got married, I intentionally chose to ignore it and pursue women in a selfish way.

Desiring to be single while married is simply a disconnect within your relationship, or yourself, that you don't recognize, or intentionally fail to address.

If you're not happy, only you have the power to change your life. The only person who you can blame is yourself for not getting to a better place.

If you are to the point where you are doing such hateful things as this you are obviously in no mood to do the hard work necessary to give your wife the type of love she is entitled to, in order to receive the type of love that you obviously feel you are entitled to. You're also depriving yourself of the blissfully happy life you COULD be living.. Instead of, you know, the resentful, agonizing, unhappy, unfulfilling, unsatisfying life that exists for you now..

Would you be happier if you moved on? Why haven't you? What stories are you telling yourself that are keeping you from actually enjoying your one and only life? And why are you trying to hard to endure pain, suffering, agony.. Could the future really be THIS bad? If you have gotten to the point that you are.. I don't think that anything you can find in the future will be worse than this. Do you believe that? If you do, why aren't you working toward a better life? Stop lying to yourself and start living your life, bro.
