I stand corrected; This poster is not talking about the Pope, but of high level Vatican clergy. This Tuesday the Pope was at/returning from Castle Gandolfo in Italy and is on his way to Germany today. I work in Chicago Center (located in nearby Aurora) and know what you are referring to.
The flight contained high level vatican officials. I can't disclose the specific tail number but it carried the HV designation, which is vatican. The online FAA registry shows only three aircraft worldwide have the HV registration.
The sector was cleared due to heightened concerns as relayed by DHS on "high profile" flights.
