It isn't, as so often stated, that Fremasons are denied the truth by some group of mysterious overlords, or that Freemasons are given some hidden knowledge. The truth is, that Freemasonry exposes people to things, concepts and experiences that are available to all, but not emphasized by many, and perhaps made too much of by some. When you were in school, do you remember the groan you and your classmates (certainly me and my classmates) made when the teacher asked you about the SYMBOLISM of what you were reading or seeing presented? No one was interested. As Paul Simon said in "Kodachrome," When I think back On all the crap I learned in high school It's a wonder I can think at all And though my lack of education Hasn't hurt me none I can read the writing on the wall Too many other popular culture figures have said much the same thing, "The Wall," for example. Anti intellectualism is much stronger in the world than Anti-Masonry, and much more dangerous. The majority of Freemasons felt, and many continue to feel, the same way about this kind of learning. Freemasonry runs them up against it. This is ine of the reasons NO ONE ever is invited to become a Mason. It is by their own choice that these people are given the opportunity to revisit that which they rejected in school, and most of them have that "ah ha" moment, wherebthey find that there is stuff out there that they don't know, and it's fun to learn. The hidden knowledge and secret skills that a Freemason learns is what was there from first grade on, but was rejected. In one Freemason ritual, there is a lesson about the stone the builder rejected becoming the most important element of the structure. We all rejected much of the tools and supplies that were offered to us as children. Freemasonry gives an opportunity for a second try at them. |

I'm sure no one offered you numerology in school, even though it's as simple as it is and gives you a lot of answers itself. Thus, masonry is when you put your dunce cap on again and agree on everything they didn't manage to put in your mind in school first time, meanwhile they collect your money in order to make another small step further towards total world control and you don't even have a clue about it. |
