Einstein's SOL is a constant needed to sustain a series of theories. But in the end it's a number and a lot of us here asked ourselves 'but why the fuck can't something go at c+0.00..001?' at some point in our lives

we all know intuitively the universe is beyond our comprehension, we can't contemplate it's structure. so whenever scientist come with this constants,limits,barriers to define it science becomes more like a religious doctrine than an answer

This really isn't a true discovery on their part. I've said for years the speed of light theory is false, as to Einsteins knowledge handed to him, was false. Shoot, you can use the search function here and find several well debated threads on the subject dating back 7-8 years easily.

Theory and proving it are two totally different things.
