I mean its still in the thermosphere yet. Quoting: Xertious It flowovers the entire globe in about 2 hours, so I believe there will be some more flyovers until it's down. Losing altitude again, but at a very slow pace. The telemetry is confusing because aerodynamic resistance to it's forward momentum is changing due to it's parabolic orbit and the skipping stone effect. A different shape may have already re entered the troposphere and impacted the earth |

Its not even broken through mesosphere yet (where meteors burn up). Quoting: Xertious Is it going to hit DC? IS that why Obama is out in Denver? The orbit doesn't go over USA in the next hours, so it's impossible for that to happen. We don't like to say the word impossible around here. |

Quoting: FloridaBreez Yeah I said it before in my Volcano thread. They are rocket scientists! How can they not figure it out. I mean I don't know maybe there are too many variables. - Made a typo in a post and lost Karma :< |

Would be a nasty situation to have it come down in russia or china, especially if it is nuclear powered like I suspect it is. |
