ALERT!!! Nasa Satellite 'To Hit Earth Within Hours'

It flowovers the entire globe in about 2 hours, so I believe there will be some more flyovers until it's down. Losing altitude again, but at a very slow pace.

The telemetry is confusing because aerodynamic resistance to it's forward momentum is changing due to it's parabolic orbit and the skipping stone effect. A different shape may have already re entered the troposphere and impacted the earth

At approximately what altitude will it begin to break up?

Damned thing is flying toward Australia, probably where it downloads it's data to at the Pine Gap NSA outpost near Alice springs Damned things a spy satellite, probably has a nuclear reactor.

i think it's because land masses are higher than the ocean.

Again, its not flying towards anything as of yet. Its not even broken through mesosphere yet (where meteors burn up).

Is it going to hit DC? IS that why Obama is out in Denver?

One would think it would only gain altitude once per revolution, but perhaps it is skipping off the atmosphere.

The orbit doesn't go over USA in the next hours, so it's impossible for that to happen.

We don't like to say the word impossible around here.

Just heard chances of any one individual being struck is one in 21 trillion.

Whit all our technology it is AMAZING that they do NOT KNOW where it will hit... or is it they do not want to TELL Us where it will hit!

Yeah I said it before in my Volcano thread. They are rocket scientists! How can they not figure it out. I mean I don't know maybe there are too many variables.

yeah, that's it, unless it still has some maneuverability left and is being directed away from populated areas. Would be a nasty situation to have it come down in russia or china, especially if it is nuclear powered like I suspect it is.
