We are just 15 miles from the epicenter! FREAKED Me out and others who have called me! Strange place for a quake it is not on the New Madrid it is West of that!

Wow I feel sorry for you. Prayer from a righteous man or woman is a very powerful thing.

Well just an update. This quake although a 3.6 was felt in quite a large area. [link to earthquake.usgs.gov] If you look at that map it shows how far the intensity of two was felt it seems to have blossomed upwards a great deal. It looks like around 160+ miles away (approx) is how far it was felt. For those who said somewhere it was the New Madrid I believe there was found (rediscovered) another fault in a different area and this I am thinking may be on it.

Back in August I posted this thread about our water quality, It was a problem before that and was also a problem more recently, the county water we get is from a big well it was given as a reason that there was small tremors effecting it, well believe it or not this well is located between us and the quakes location from yesterday, I would guess maybe 6 miles or so give or take! Thread: OH NO! DOOM! Called The Water Company After Problems With Water!

Hmm I thought I just felt another one (heard) around 10 after 10 will see if it was a smaller one or not, the neighbors dogs are barking like mad and as I went outside my cat shot around the house and right up to me, I think she was saying "what the"?

I live in SW AR. There have been lots of very small shakes for about 2 weeks now but nothing ever makes the reports. I`ve watched the water in our pond quiver and so have neighbors in their ponds.

Well I guess it was either small or just me and the crazy animals 'cause it is not showing up on the earthquake site....
