Regarding Sirius, I asked the same question on another forum once about why it was blocked off that way. The answer was that it was too bright and would "block out" surrounding stars etc. With regards to your other two piccies, they are very mysterious! Where did you get them from?

where do you have the second picture from? what is the source to your second pic and the claim? they cut something out of one of their app and suddenly you present us the stuff thats hidden below? hows that supposed to work? you hacked back the pixels, work deep inside google, have the source material to all these apps, or what is backing any of your claims?

Personally I don't believe we're in a trinary system with Sirus.

Alcyone is probably our central star.

Possibly it takes 26 000 years, (thats just one of our cycles, it could be another instead), to complete orbit around this star.

Its possibly that in this cycle, we meet up with, or get a lot closer to Sirius.

I am torn on this issue when I found the page itself I thought wow this is what they are hidding but if you look on worldwidetelescope.org just off from Sirius there is the weird telescope spider image reflection just off from it so I don't know.

But there is a good chance out of all the crappy google sky anomalies out there this one is been hidden if it is showing the same images
