Like shooting fish in a barrel or Cheney shooting quail. Yeah but if we want to eat fish, we kill them instantly with a knife to the head. Buckshot is a cruel way to die unless its less than 10 feet away. Even then 5 feet. And a large running animal always runs away more than that before you hit them. Its torture. Damn right it is. I am one of those who dislikes animal cruelty. I stand behind people like Bindi Irwin. Your confusing birdshot with buckshot. Birdshot on anything but birds is cruel. Birdshot is a lot of very small bbs. 00 Buckshot in a 12 gauge is 9 .30 cal pellets. Its good to about 25 yards. This is like being hit by 9 .30 bullets at once. Death would be fast, its usually not allowed because it destroys to much meat when hunting and it spreads out past 25 yards making it more dangerous than a single bullet. |
