It tumbled once and made a single bright flash as the sun reflected off of it...that's what caught my eye as I was waiting for it otherwise I would have missed it. "Some say the end is near. Some say we'll see Armageddon soon. I certainly hope we will I sure could use a vacation from this stupid shit..." -Tool |

They thus become part of the armies of the night, the purveyors of nitwittery, the retailers of intellectual junk food, the feeders on mental cardboard, for their ignorance keeps them from distinguishing nectar from sewage. — Isaac Asimov |

Around sunset West Texas was getting a little freaked out by the show. Don't know why NASA thinks it's important to release two weather balloons when everyone is thinking about the sky. Oh yes, distraction anyone? [link to www.connectamarillo.com] Some of the media around here is reporting they are high altitude research balloons co-sponsored through the University of New Hampshire. They reach altitudes up to 130-thousand feet. They are studying gamma rays from a Super Nova that's 65-hundred light years away.. “I love you more, I love you most. I love you more than I love your ghost.” |
