Re: SPIRITUALITY vs RELIGION
These crazy women should definitely NOT be "teaching" others in matters of "spirituality".

Like Eve, they are the ones who are doing the most tempting, and misleading.

Satan knows very well that women are the weaker vessel, and he gets a lot of milage out of deceiving them, and using them to deceive others. A wonderful example would be Tree Hugger.

And always in the name of love. Just like Satan, they present themselves as beings of light, and love. All the while, doing their very best to lead you away from the one and only path that leads to life.

Just think...

Sheloves is so far gone that she actually believes that I am a Catholic because I believe in confessing our sin to God, repentance, and obedience.

Sheloves also said this:

"Jesus was a man and christ is his title, a title that means that he has reached the highest state of being love in a human body that any human could reach."

Christ means THE anointed one. Not AN annointed one. And according to her "logic", anyone can reach the purity and sinlessness of Jesus. I challenge her, or anyone else, to name ONE person since Adam that has EVER done this.

According to her "logic", we donīt need to be washed clean by Jesusī sacrifice, in our behalf. We can obtain perfection on our own.

Do you realize how utterly crazy, and Satanic that is?

Every time she says, "Peace to your path", she might as well be saying "Be calm, on your way to destruction".

There is only ONE path.

How foolish to call Jesus a good "teacher", but then call Him a liar at the same time.

NONSENSE.

User ID: 1371,

I feel sad for you right now, may love guide you back to who you really are. The way you speak to me and dishonour all women is proof of your intentions.

You are so very wrong about me,

I love God and Jesus Christ with all my heart mind and soul.

God alone will be my judge and jury, you have no authority to condemn anyone.

Let he without sin cast the first stone, you would do well to remember those words.

Love has no language it is felt with the whole being and it is in this love and understanding that I share here with you.

Take it or leave it, your perspective is relevant.

God bless you.

Jesus Christ is the greatest example of spirituality in the history of humankind!
***********************************************
This is where you spiritual new agers fall short before the glory of the Lord and follow the teachings of satan.
You are doing nothing more than attempting to become holy and perfect by practicing the knowledge mankind attained by the fruit of the tree that brings death.
Jesus WAS NOT an example for us to attain spiritual life, He is the ONLY way to spiritual life and it doesnīt come by putting anything into practice. Spiritual life is a gift from Jesus, it is NOT and NEVER will be something you can work towards. Life and love does not come that way. But until you grasp what grace through faith in Christ is, you are dead in your spiritual life.
New agers have taken Jesus completely out of their spirituality, but because they credit Him as a teacher they think they are giving Him due respect to what He accomplished.
But in reality, without Christīs death and resurrection working in you... you donīt have the foggiest what spiritual life is about, because your spirit is dead in sin..

Dear 803,

I have read some of your posts and it seems you may be misreading some of that which is written!

Are you the same 803 who said - (I have not taken Jesus out of spirituality, he is a prime example of who we can be once love is fully realised in a human body. He shows us the way to love in all its diversity.)

If so, how does this view differ from my statement - (Jesus Christ is the greatest example of spirituality in the history of humankind!)

I wish you well 803

BTW Jesus Christ also said the following to the woman at the well, "But the hour is coming and now is, when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

He preceded this by telling her that the hour is coming when you will neither worship in the mountain nor in Jerusalem. This sounds very much to me like He was saying that the days of organized religion were numbered. But then this is just my opinion!

Once again 803, I wish you well

No servant I did not make that comment, What does it mean to worship in spirit and in truth. first a person must know the truth in order to worship in truth.

I wish I could explain it to you so you would see the night and day difference between the spirit and the flesh.

To worship in the flesh is to be concerned with what mankind can accomplish before God in his own ability. This flesh performance can be demonstrated through religion, philosophy, or whatever else man endeavors to make himself look presentable before God. The flesh performance revolves and is based on the knowledge of good and evil and putting it into practice. In fact you can be the most righteous person in the world by your deeds, but if you are basing them on your acceptance to God then you are denying His Sonīs atonement and saying that you can do it by yourself through worshipping on the proper mountain, or the proper religious actions.

To worship in spirit and truth is to discard everything that we can accomplish as presentable to God and place all our faith in Christ and what He has done to make us acceptable to God, through His sacrifice. His method does not require us to do it properly or be on the right mountain, His method is not based on our performance of good or evil. His method brings spiritual life and is the opposite of justifying ourselves before God in our performances. His method requires that we deny ourselves and all that we think is good or evil and rest in His faith that is given to those who believe.

Without faith in Christ, we are spiritually dead in trespasses and sin, and are still focused on our selves and our accomplishments, which produce the fruit of pride and self-serving self-righteousness.

So unless you are of faith in Christ, you are concerned with the proper mountain or remedy that will bring you closer to God.

Re: SPIRITUALITY vs RELIGION
AC #803,

Your words confuse me as well. It seems that you are basically saying what everyone else is saying (at the core level). There are many earthly desires that I believe can distract you away from what is truly important. I believe that loving experiences for the sake of spirit and truth will bring more tranquility, peace, and joy into one´s life than simply loving the experience of having money and prestige for the sake of control.

As you said yourself, "His method does not require us to do it properly or be on the right mountain, His method is not based on our performance of good or evil." Can you not see that as meaning regardless of what religious doctrine you follow, as long as you love Him truly and your inner most intent is in love rather than "false idols" than you are in His favor?

Love goes beyond the simple boundaries we set up in our man-made religions. Rather than strictly adhering us to a paradigm of service in FEAR, do you not perhaps think that it was meant for us to be of service in this great creation out of LOVE?

He is not an angry God! He is loving beyond imagine!

Re: SPIRITUALITY vs RELIGION
There is a great problem with those who wish to impose their understanding of the truth on others. This is no less than a third party trying to tell a couple in love how to love each other! It is not possible because the third party does not have the experience of the two who are in love. No one can tell me, for e.g. how I MUST relate too or love my God and heavenly Father or my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! This is totally personal between them and me! All are, however, entitled to an opinion! As well as being entitled to share that opinion! But forcing it!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, that just doesnīt work! Of course we will all have a different experience, even amongst those who are of the same religious persuasion and this is how it should be as we are all different. For one, they will find it in their particular religion where they are comfortable with being told what to believe and experience. For another, they will find it deep inside where no one but the Father and the Son sees. I applaud all who seek the truth and Love! I reject all who try and force their beliefs on me! I do, however, give them the courtesy of listening.

Aeric you totallly missed the purpose of what I said. It is not about how well we can perform, it is not about how we are capable of love, however it is about us having the capability to love.
Trying to please God by what we can do is futile and religious. Trying to be a better person is nothing but self works and self righteousness.

My point is that when we are given faith in Christ, and this is not something we possess within us, faith is a gift from God towards us. When we have faith we donīt judge ourselves any longer by our personal actions, we judge Christ and His actions.

Love works in us, it is not something that we work in ourselves, God is perfect love, anything short of what He is not pure and true love. A person cannot truly love without having received the love of Christ within them.

You are saying it is up to us and how we are capable of showing love or being good. Therefore your standard of measure is sef-righteousness which breeds self-glorification and pride...Love cannot work in us through our efforts....As all this is is following the knowledge of good and evil we have been born with.

Teaching someone what is good and what is evil is a complete waste of time, This knowledge is born into mankind and has no reason for teaching, as this knowledge has only brought death to mankind.

Forcing someone to receive faith in Christ is impossible, God cannot be manipulated through witchcraft.
But examining ourselves is evil unless we are examining ourselves to see if we have faith in Christ. If we are examining ourselves to measure how righteous we are, then we are not clothed in the righteousness of Christ, but are looking at our own image and how it appears.

Servant you have faith in Christ, you do well. But what is faith? Is it merely acknowledging Christ as Lord or is believing in what He has done as complete for us, meaning their is nothing we can add to ourselves, and to attempt to do so would be to be denying what Christ accomplished as complete, not having faith in Him.

Re: SPIRITUALITY vs RELIGION
From what I see on this thread, most people who consider themselves spiritual because they belong to no organized religion, have only masked their religious spirit by the own devices.

Do you have your own "how to" program you follow?, is your spiritual life based on your actions?
Can you not see that you have developed your own religion?

How to love is a religion in itself, because it glorifies how well a personīs image is. All that progresses is based upon a scheme, or a man-made plan. This is religion.

If we are on a path that is dependant upon our accomplishments, then we are religious.

Religion masks itself in many faces, but they all have the same bottom line, and that is the practice of good and evil. Self help books are dependent in being successful by how well a person follows the plan laid out, This is nothing more than religious striving to be a better person.

All of this is at enmity towards God, God īs view of a personīs image is based on whether they accept His free gift through Christ, or whether they seek righteousness on their own.

And if we reject Godīs free gift of righteousness through Christ, then we are dead spiritualy in our trespasses and sin, no matter what we think can bring karmic balance, karmic balance does not erase the wrong previously committed.

Friend of God, (803)

<<<And here lies what I know for sure and you do not. I have been in the presence of God´s power, love and peace.>>>

I would never presume such a thing about you, that is not my way. I do not even desire to interact with you anymore, for anyone who can say that to another is not in his or her right mind and speaks not from a place of love.

I think you are confused with what is being said here in this thread, seeing it through your perspective and conditioning and not seeing the common thread of love we all share in us.

You said: <<<Love works in us, it is not something that we work in ourselves, God is perfect love, anything short of what He is not pure and true love. A person cannot truly love without having received the love of Christ within them.>>>

I have no argument with that at all, its truth. Christ is love and its the highest form of love incarnated on earth by anyone. This is the love I choose to recieve and be in my every action and reaction towards self and others and all that is creation.

In God´s love we see ´all´ as diverse expressions of one and united, in tolerance and acceptance, not seperate and with judgement.

May joy be with you

Anonymous Coward #803:

You misunderstand the words of many here. Whether you do so out of ignorance or deliberately is beyond me.

You say that only God can give us our faith. That everyone here who claims to act out of love are nothing more than prideful sinners seeking self-glorification.

And yes, through your own words, you claim that God has given YOU faith over us? You claim that God favors YOU over the rest of humanity? Can you really be so ignorant to say that your love is the real true love of God and ours is only the love of flesh? Judge not less you be judged. It would do you VERY good to remember those words and APPLY THEM to your life!

From this point on I do not think I will address you further. It seems you are hell-bent on giving lip serivice to yourself as a true follower of God while casting the rest down as infidels.

I love you much and hope your journey will lead you to more peaceful roads.

Namaste ~Aeric

The love in me see´s the love in you with clarity.

A daily dose of love and acceptance is nectar for the soul indeed! Its hard for all who seek the deeper meaning of love, for everything around us is a mirror reflecting that which we are not...and try so very hard to be.

Yes sometimes its simple, you just ´get it´, that is love guiding you. Other times we struggle and that is fear in us which feeds the ego of unworthiness.

Know this, you are not alone, we are all feeling this way at times. All I can re-inforce in you is to believe in who you are and the love that surrounds you every moment of your day, call upon that love and witness grace in action. When we let go of the details and let love guide us we can expect the unexpected...

You are not corny, just go with the flow, you are getting it! You are observing yourself as you really are, now is the time for forgiveness of self, not judgement. Just observe with detachement and let go.

<<<Do I choose love? Or do I choose a false idol?>>>

You choose what feels right for you and it will always be that which you learn and grow from. You are already choosing love as your guide, now is the time to trust in that love and believe you are that love in you.

Blessings to your path.
