I always thought Lester might be God in disguise, hiding out on God-Like-Productions. Hanging out here, heīs only doing what comes natural to God.

NO! God wants everyone to come to Him, Lester tells everyone itīs to late.(the straight gate is closed) wall

So yes Iīve fallen away from any relationship with the above mentioned. Until Jesus comes back or your earthly body dies we can make this choice and it is a choice.

I have found there are 3 things God canīt do:

First, He canīt lie.

Second, He canīt learn, because He already knows it. That means if He canīt learn, He canīt be disappointed in you. Think about it. You might be disappointed when next week you fall flat on your face. Godīs not surprised. He knew it in advance.
Thatīs why He had to die.

The third thing He canīt do is force you to love Him. The staggering gift that youīve received is your free will. In order to love Him, Heīs got to give you the choice not to love Him.

Thatīs a frightening gift.

There are also four things that God doesnīt know.
First, He doesnīt know a sin that He doesnīt hate. He doesnīt know a sinner He doesnīt love. He doesnīt know an alternate path to His throne - itīs only through His Son. And the fourth thing that God doesnīt know is a better time to receive His Son than right now.

Donīt wait a second longer!
Just look at the world around you!
Heīs Coming Soon!

Okay, letīs analyze that statement for a moment. You state that God cannot learn. To himself, there are no surprises in that he knows all.

Working with that line of thought, it would then follow that there is nothing we cannot do as his creations that could possibly surprise him, (since he knows all).....

It would then also follow (since he knows all) that he would KNOW whether or not we would fail (or) succeed, putting this square in YOUR language whether we should be damned (or) be saved.

Some might term this as Deist in that it is a "Pre-Determiner" (or īPredestinationī) in the outcome of your immortal soul.

Meaning in the end-all of this? There is no free will; Free will cannot co-exist in that state when the fate of your immortal soul has already been as īcarved in stoneī by a God who knows all, sees all, and indeed, is not surprised in that space of time next week if we should fall flat on our faces.

Sounds kinda sucky to moiī

Cassie you hit the nail on the head with this remark...And it is the depth of reasoning to His grace given to all who will receive Him.

I have an 18 year old daughter, who thinks she can pull the wool over my eyes, sometimes she feeds me a line and I know that she is conning me..But I donīt say anything and allow her to take the path she is bent on taking, and I know what will happen, and nine times out of ten the outcome of her mistakes it is exactly as I knew it would be.

This doesnīt mean that she has no free-will to change her mind. And just because God has all knowledge doesnīt mean we ourselves are not free to make choices either. Do you see what I am suggesting?

803, Then God does NOT know all? If we are given the free-will to either receive (or) deny him, and that will is truly free, than he cannot know which choice we would make?

IF, on the other hand, he is all-knowing, then he would possess the knowledge that we will receive (or) deny him, thus removing our free-will.....

Re: Have you fallen away from your relationship with Lester?
Getting back to "Free-Will" whether-or-not it does indeed exist within the religion of a Christian, here I will provide evidence that it could not exist as such:

Turn to Mark 14:29, and it is written:

29 But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I.
30 And Jesus saith to him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.

Okay, being that it is that itīs a given that you consider yourselves "Christian" and the above words are absolute truth to yourselves, this could only lead you to one conclusion; For Jesus to KNOW all so well what was about to happen, it HAD TO HAPPEN IN EXACTLY that manner, and Peter could not have acted in any other way, thus, he had no free-will for non-denial of Jesus, for it had already been foretold that he would, (deny Jesus) thus assisting in sealing his fate.

You see, IF "Free-Will" COULD have been, and with Peter THEN making a statement of īnon-denialī towards Jesus.....Well, I think you can see the paradox here, being tantamount to calling the son of God a īliarī, which should be enough by now to have you squirming silly in your seats.

Another example:
Turn to Exodus in the Old Testament, 7:13
13 And he hardened Pharoahīs heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the Lord had said.

For God to exercise a manipulation TOWARDS Pharoahīs "Will", he had to work towards that direction that would put the Pharoah at opposites with his own will, meaning that Pharoah really didnīt HAVE the free will TO exercise īkindnessī towards the Isrealites, this being removed from him BY GOD, ergo, FREE WILL WAS NOT HIS TO EXERCISE. Are you following me?

first off we arer quite powerless against satan by ourselves, with the Holy Spirit revealing to us the victory in Christ, we are conquerors.

Before jesus said this of Peter, He told Peter that satan had asked for him, satan asked for Peter and he got Peter, Notice the words tat Christ spoke to Peter after He told Peter that satan asked for him...Jesus said "When you return to Me, strengthem the brethren."
So it really had nothing to do with what Peter was capable of doing, he was controlled by a spirit of denial from satan...Peter was no light-weight, He feared very little, He was the one who drew his sword in the garden and fought for Jesus, He was the one who jumped out of the boat and walked on the water.

Re: Have you fallen away from your relationship with Lester?
Hey, LESTER!

I will always remember how you caused me to re-commit my life/soul/spirit to Christ Jesus and to re-new my relationship to HIM. Lester, thank you for that.

Remember that my sweet old-geezer cat died and I was so heartbroken .. when I read your message that sad day ... well, your message really touched me.
I went to the animal shelter later that week.
God had somebody waiting there for me.

Now, I have a beautiful black mackerel tabby cat named LESTER to remind me that you were brave enough to post your message here.
Thanks for that. You always take serious flak for your efforts.

Iīm writing again to tell you that my cat Lester is so precious to me. My constant companion. He caught the mouse living in my garage right after he got home.
He is exactly what I needed.

So.. back off Lester everybody... the things he wrote obviously werenīt meant for you. Maybe just for me?

I remember that Pastor Eugene Scott was the guy who had
JESUS SAVES

in big red letters lit up on top of his church building in Los Angeles.

I used to see it when I was a kid.
I think he was sort of a nutjob but STILL.. the message was Jesus Saves... and yah, He does.
