IMO?...there is no concrete example or definition of a "real conservative"...while we believe in many of the libertarian principals for their value?...we aren't married or cloned into a rigid libertarian ideology of any one of the foundational libertarian principlas...Ron Paul is...he cannot cut the chord to the bullshit downsides of the libertarian "theory" like legalizing prostitution, drugs for anyone of any age etc etc etc and leaving...not even leaving...BURDENING the states with handling all that as they see fit...it;s bullshit...it would never work as the equal protection clause in the constitution would bring the worst of the worst and lowest common denominator upon us all...

It's a retardedly simplistic and a very much tunnel visioned viewpoint that could not and never has functioned in real life...to me a "real conservative" wants a common sense and efficient government functioning at the leanest possible level with the least amount of intrusion into everyone's personal space and life...does that mean zero regulation and zero federal law which isn't specifically written into the USC?...no it does not...kidnapping is not...yet IMO that is a federal law which is useful...Ron Paul and most Libertarians would eliminate that law and most others if they could...which btw they NEVER could...so why would anyone vote for someone that cannot do 90% of what they believe and run on? How about I run on having a manned space program to land on these sun?...wow Awesome idea SHR!...you can't actually DO that, but sounds great...just go at night!...it's the same thing if you think about it.

We need real reform...real downsizing of this current behemoth beaurcracy....real job creation..you really think some libertarian who is going to stoopft their foot and lecture the entire legislative branch about their rigid adherence to a soopa keen Ideology that more or less equates to the flat earth "theory" is really going to get anything done in this day and age?....maybe ask yourself why Ron Paul has gotten just about ZERO done in over 30 years in the house and you will have your answer....

But as I said...I don;t want to make this thread a debate about policy...I will be more than happy to do that in another thread....in depth...
