This poll kinda scares me it shows me that Obama will win if Ron Paul isn't the Republican nominee.
What would happen is it would split the vote and Obama would slide in and win the presidency. We can't let that happen

Trust me when I tell you...if Ron Paul did win the nom?...which has about the same odds of happening as you being mauled by a polar bear AND a regular bear in the same day?...Obama would murder the republican party in a landslide...but that isn't going to happen so I'm not concerned...whoever does run against him?...they have a very strong chance of defeating Obama....but I do believe it will be a close race...so what I really wonder is how many ex-Obama voters will go back to him if Ron Paul is not nominated?...and how many RP voters will vote for RP as a write in....are the RP voters willing to risk Obama being re-elected by a very narrow margain?...one that maybe they could have swung with a mere few hundred votes?...how many of the RP fans are willing to go down with the ship...

CHECK MATE.

Those who hate on Ron Paul believe:
Not voting for Ron Paul = same old, same old. Rick Perry, Obama, Paul all the same.
Voting for Ron Paul = Ron Paul will just become the same, or get killed, or denied office entirely (there's no chance he'll win).

Ron Paul fans:
Voting for Ron Paul = will energize the country, just to get so much attention on him. Even my mainstream coworkers and family members see that the media is being unfavorable to him - this ALONE is huge. And if he wins and makes change, bonus!!!!!

Ron Paul haters:
No solution.
Ron Paul fans:

PLUS all you conspiracy theorists, we know the media is trying to silence Paul!

 Quoting: TruthSleuth

Without a doubt, the media "mold" is "X-ing" Paul out. It's sad to say but Ron Paul could never take the whitehouse; americans don't trust themselves let alone someone who says push governance back to the states (my neighbor). There is nothing but fear there because americans have never really embraced local government because corruption rules. Sad!

Great poll. I accidentally voted wrong because there are two possibilities - how I voted in the last election and how I will vote in the next one. I wish I could have recorded, "I will write it Ron Paul".

I don't get why you'd risk letting Ron Paul stay under the radar, instead of bubbling up into American consciousness (imagine if everyone was talking about him and his ideas), based on an unfounded conspiracy theory. Most Obama fans would prefer Ron Paul over Rick Perry. I know, as I live in Austin and work with a bunch of liberal people who probably voted for Obama - they actually dig Ron Paul's message, but no matter what they loathe Perry.

But the key is him winning the nomination! You have to energize voters NOW, or yes, it's a lost cause. We're stuck with Perry or Romney.

I agree with you. But the rural area in which I live there are two camps. Camp #1 = Welfare Dems, Union Dems. Camp #2 = Religious Gop, Tea Party GOP. The only ones that will budge in there choice seem to be the tea party types.

People are so brainwashed in this country it makes me sick. You try and explain how things really are and they either think your crazy or lying. The rest are to dumb to even understand what you are telling them.

I have been a supporter of Gary Johnson since he first entered this race many months ago. It really makes me sad to hear everyone call him the "new guy". This nation is fucked, and deserves all the hardships that are in it's near future. I hate to feel that way because I know there are a lot of good people out there but we are so outnumbered that a start over sounds better and better to me.

You can't control other people. But you can control what you do. You can be different, you can vote for the right candidate. That's all, really. Maybe Ron Paul loses the nom by a landslide. At least you can say it wasn't your fault that our president is Rick Perry, though.

It could happen. If you flew from Alaska to Washington the same day.
As far as writing in Ron Paul. I have thought about this quite seriously.
We have to make sure that we have the senate. If Obama is re-elected, he will never get away with the crap he has these 4 years.
If it be asked, What is the most sacred duty and the greatest source of our security in a Republic? The answer would be, An inviolable respect for the Constitution and Laws.

i dont think anyone expects the corrupt rino's to allow ron paul the nomination..... im sure ron realizes this. he has already announced he will not run for congress again, i think this sets up his run as an independent.

can you imagine rickromney, obongo and ron paul in a 3 man debate? that would be hard for even the dimmest sheeple to not finally 'get it'.

no need to write in a legit independent thats already a choice on the ballot.

Not a yank so can´t vote but.

I´ve never voted and never will until the wealthy elite loose control of them and there is actually a choice. It doesn´t matter who the fuck wins the election, nothing will change.

Obama is the best thing to happen to america in a long time. Bush couldn't even string a sentence together for gawd sake. All the right is doing is bickering amongst themselves, if u look at em its like watching a bunch of retarded chimps.

Ron paul is dam man, but we all know he hasnt got a chance in hell, corporations/money men won't allow that to happen

Obama comes across as highly intelligent, sophisticated and a goal to help the common man. Hello poster,

I understand that you don't want to vote right-wing and I'm not trying to sway you to the right, but my question is...Does it matter to you whether or not the candidate you vote for is a globalist?

personally I'm inclined to vote for RP, however if he was not running, my question would be first and foremost: Who is running that is "NOT" a globalist.

I respectfully submit this video as evidence..(see the last few minutes starting @ the 6:50 mark)

not sure it seems unlikely, is not 3rd tier right behind perry. And in most other first. He is winning straw poll after straw poll.

and in a scientific rammiusun taken several weeks ago. Was tied by 1% against obama from 20,000 likely voters

he has more than a fair chance this election. People are waking up in droves, especially independents

his chances are going to be difficult because of MSM programming, but if he can get in the primary..it could be a surprise to alot of people

All u right wing nutjobs can say anything you wan but there isnt a decent man amongst the right, except ron paul that even comes close to Obama in the debating/ interacting with the people department. And thats the truth

Obama will win hands down....deal with it

I think you are wrong

Paul has a really good chance this time around, if he can win the primary and get into some one on one debates with obama. It will be a landslide

it's going to be a fucking tuff road though.

Oh, it's going to be a f'ing miracle if RP is allowed to progress that far. I'm voting for RP 'cause of my moral convictions/responsibilty but the folks who run the circus decide who runs/... dem or repub does not matter... they will be players from the same team... same agenda, same policies... "same as the old boss". It is clear Perry is their man. Obammy is "Their" man in office now and if it looks like obammy is going to get beat, TPTB are going to make damn sure the person who beats him is "Their" man too.

Thanks for voting despite your lack of optimism. As long as we all put in our own effort, at least we can say we tried, instead of just saying we let it happen. And who knows, maybe we'll be surprised for the better.

I voted for RP in 2008 and he is the only vote for true liberty freedom and constitutional justice. But TPTB will not give up their power/gov/military/printing press short of a revolution... thats what it will take hopefully peacefully. If 200 million americans stood and collectivily shouted in one voice WE ARE DONE BACKING UP... WE CLAIM OUR REPUBLIC BACK we would win. But TPTB have our country so divided along so many social economic and racial fractures (which they created) i just can't see how the PEOPLE can defeat the corupt tyranny running the western world

Well you just take it step by step. Think of how you woke up to the reality around us. It's possible for any other human being to wake up, too. It just might take more non-establishment messages to get out on the MSM. Less than a century ago, hippies were smoking pot and thinking revolution. Those same hippies are now our parents! Change can happen fast, but no it doesn't happen overnight!
