Anonymous Coward User ID: 1918187 United States 09/24/2011 07:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Mars is my guess.. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1909879 [link to www.solarsystemscope.com] go to the night side of earth, then look at how Mars would have risen a couple of hours before the sun, and remember these cameras are VERY sensitive to light, so Mars would appear to be huge, but I'm no expert. There is no planet in our Solar system that could ever possibly be as big & bright as that cmon thats almost another Sun!!!!!! You are incorrect!!! Notice how little of the Earth background is lit up. Also notice this object exudes refracted light coma... NOTICE prior to the sun coming up the whole screne is white washed and then adjusts and shows a much smaller body for the Sun but very bright. As another poster said "these cameras are very light sensitive". End of Doom... |

[link to i439.photobucket.com] If it's not the Moon, where is the Moon? LOL. Because that is exactly where the Moon should be at that time. The Moon always looks like that on the CFHT Cloudcam. It is VERY sensitive. Again: "If you see something unusual, keep in mind that the camera changes sensitivity dramatically throughout the night to compensate for changes in ambient light so the moon and planets can appear much brighter than we are used to seeing them." "The camera starts taking images just before sunset and stops just after sunrise. During that time you usually see the moon rise or set as well. At this sensitivity the moonrise can be very bright and look a lot like a sunrise but if you see stars you can know it is still night-time." I am sure since you are so unhappy with this video that you can find something else to do with your time on a Saturday afternoon. eh? they are paid Shills, that is their job they make money debunking stuff, that is why they remain AC's No. It just means not EVERYTHING is a conspiracy and not EVERYBODY wants to register here It's the Moon ffs Check Stellarium yourself. Enter location a Hawaii. Set time and date, look East...voila I can understand your position. There is, however, no need for them to be so rude and mean. They personally attack people which is kind of overkill, and lends itself to the possibility that they have an ulterior motive, hence Shill. agreed.you can dissagree whithout without the drama.i swear sometimes it seems like its just plain old fear that brings it out |

Anyway the elevation of the cam is very high so thats my point here! |
