NOTICE prior to the sun coming up the whole screne is white washed and then adjusts and shows a much smaller body for the Sun but very bright.

I'm from your future and I saw the moon last night and I assume its the same moon as yours and it was no where near full 3/4 blocked...

The moon doesn't rise just before the sun. Venus does. That's why it is called 'the morning star'.

I've been reading all of these Elenin, Niribru, solar flare threads and have to say it seems like the best explanation is ...

we dont have a clue what the heck is going on or what it is. I guess we speculate and wait. I don't trust NASA, but who is a credible novice who's opinion can be trusted?

Regardless what it is, that is a most beautiful sky. I'd give anything to see that many stars and that much sky at night.

this is not VENUS. VENUS will shortly be in the EVENING STAR.

You have to remember that cam is above the clouds so if you use Stellarium then you have to offset the "distance above sea level" which is what I did & for that time 03:30 it put Betelgeuse in that location so I wondered hmmm is it Betelgeuse exploding or something as that is expected anytime now & with the NASA stories about space junk & satelites crashing then could this be the explosion on the cam?
Anyway the elevation of the cam is very high so thats my point here!

go back 4-5 days and you will see their is ni large object before the sun so can't be the moon

No we have a quarter moon, not a full moon right.

Probably if you link up to the date in Hawaii to the last time we had a 9% moon.... it needs to be the exact moon phase so maybe that will prove the point!

I usually see the moon in the center of the sky when I walk outside before going to bed and that 12 or 1am, I will go out tonight and I have a moon locater on my iphone,

your eyes can adjust, that camera lens CAN'T! it is very sensitive, so even the light from a sliver of the moon showing will overwhelm it.

It's the MOON.

It's the moon,find my other post up there ^ and check the time stamp on the video and match to my links of moon and sun rises.

I thought Sirius was in the North at that time? I might be wrong but then its a possibility..

Maybe someone will get to it if we are lucky. I am too stoned to deal with that stuff now.

Why are people saying it's the moon. That object does not look like a waning crescent moon.
