I call it more of a therapy I think your just outdated with the times.. you know how many dad's are gamers.. It's a great stress relief from the day.... Cheaper than going out... and my wife loves that I am home at night...

Gaming is totally cool and can even be attempted to use as a simulator in the real world. There are lot's benefits to gaming and NO, it doesn't make me violent.... yes, it's just a game.

Hey OP, my fav's are Delta Force Black Hawk Down (Great game, book, and movie), Ghost Recon (all of them), All Splinter Cells (was Clancy sending a message there?), Call of Duty Black Op's (MK Ultra anyone?), and of course, Battlefield...

Hey don't discount Microsoft Flight Simulator as a great tool to help you learn to fly but actually get (and MAINTAIN) an Instrument Rating. Great stuff!!

Yep. Old gamer here also. Just put away Witcher 2 after so many playthroughs I darn near wore out the disc. Back to Fallout 3...yeah, I know it is getting old but there are still mods being made for it. Thanks for posting the vid OP. Not my type of game, but we each have our preferences..lol.

Was just loading up steam when I read this... LOL

Playing games for 37 years now, started with the first atari consoles and then C64.

My favorite way of passing time is smoking joints while playing.

Waiting for Rage for the pc to come out and Uncharted 3 for the ps3. GTA was never my thing.

Yea. lol. It helps that she's a gamer too. It took a while to convince her to let me wear it, but in the end it came down to either green lantern or a star trek ensignia. She thought the green lantern was better.

If you haven't played it, I would suggest Mass Effect 1 & 2.

I just beat Deux Ex the other day, it was pretty good but not nearly as good as Mass Effect was so far in the story.

My 360 is in Cali right now but I'll be able to log on in Early October.

mass effect 2 is one of my favorites as well, story was epic

I hear Dead island is bad ass if you're into zombie killing games. Its nothing like the black ops zombies maps. I am pro at blk ops zombies, the new "mooon" map for blk ops sucks, though. imo
