I had a few people over yesterday, a couple of whom I don't know overly well, and while I tidying up their mess today I came across a vile that must have fallen out/been left behind by one of the people and for the life of me I can't figure out what it is. I opened it up and there is a (seemingly) clear liquid inside that smells like concentrated chlorine, or at least that's the closest smell I could compare it too. It's in a brown, unlabeled vile, so I am assuming it isn't prescription-drug, but after a few hours of searching online still have no real idea what it could be. Anyone have any idea?

The smell would be 'Ammonia' (or similar) It is used to wash/refine most drugs. It is basically an impurity from the drug making process. If you plan to ingest any street/internet drugs that smell of chlorine/ammonia I would buy a supplement named L-Arganine. This is the only way your body can flush out this chemical without harm.

I just got out from hospital after a massive reduction in red blood-cells due to amyle-nitrite. I have never had any problems with amyls, but this particular brand (Rush: birtday-edition) had a distinct chlorine smell that I have never had in amyls before. Amyls are usually sold in tinted bottles since the nitrite degrades in exposure to light and/or oxygen. 80Jay
