I too have downloaded an EQ app on my phone and I can say with experience, that it goes off every 30 min or so if you set it at 5.0!

If you set it at 6.0 it will go off at least 3-4 times a day!

So I am expecting something 6.1+ in the next 24 hrs for you to be even close (and actually its a pretty good bet!)

PS: If its vanuatu, alutian islands, honsake japen etc you still lose...those go off all the time!
