I have never ever read one of those. I have also never watched a soap opera other than for about a week when Luke and Laura got married, and only because it meant an hour off of work because my boss watched it.

Edited because I am remembering wrong..it meant an hour after school before I had to start homework. My boss two years later was still addicted, but didn't share the time off with us.
