Totally different construction methods in the lower and basement floor compared to the upper floors.

If I remember correctly only one column was slightly damaged and most of the stuff in that area was reinforced concrete.

Because there was no paper thin aluminum from an airplane to completely shred all the solid steel support columns in a symmetrical pattern leading to a symmetrical collapse.

Re: WTC fires in 1975, why didnt it pancake back then ?
Some reasons I can think of:

1) They would have been fueled only by fuel available in the
offices.

2) They would have spread slowly spreading heat load on the
structure. Offices aren't going to burn hot for all that long.
Likely only minutes per room until the fire dies down.

3) They weren't fueled by an entire plane load of fuel.

4) The insulation on the beams would have stayed intact.

5) The structure wasn't already damaged.

Excuse me laughing boy!

Are you saying that isn't true? That the construction wasn't radically different than that at the 80th or so floor.

It was a friggen parking garage.

Made of reinforced concrete.

You could have easily converted it into a bunker.

"We here are of the conviction that the papacy is the seat of the true and real Antichrist." - Martin Luther (Aug. 18, 1520)

"While God has given ample evidence for faith, He will never remove all excuse for unbelief. All who look for hooks to hang their doubts upon will find them. And those who refuse to accept and obey God's Word until every objection has been removed, and there is no longer an opportunity for doubt, will never come to the light" (The Great Controversy, p. 527).

After being formally abolished by Pope Clement XIV in 1773, the Jesuits used the Illuminati and other organizations to carry out their operations. face palm ,,you are tripping on your own shoestrings ,
didnt you just say that the steel could possibly melt or weakened though the whole building thoughout in another thread ?

Those reinforced section you just mentioned would have not have totally disintegrated like it did in real life if your statement is right , first the beams and core would have been totally cool and rigid and have full strength beams and core in the complete section 10-15 floors below actual hit, if not even higher, it swould have slowed down a fall considerably, or even totally be halted halfway down ,
it was rigged no doubt

OK, I got the right incident now.

According to the article half the offices on the floor the fire started on were involved in the fire which tells me roughly half the floor was on fire.

Furthermore:

Only the 11th floor office area was burned, but extensive water damage occurred on the 9th and 10th floors, and smoke damage extended as far as the 15th floor, the spokesman said. Although there were no direct casualties, 28 of the 150 firemen called to the scene suffered minor injuries.

The article also says that the fires that started on other floor were small and easily contained and started because of wiring pass throughs.

So it wasn't much of a fire in scope.

An aircraft didn't run into the building and explode cutting 13 perimeter columns and 4 core columns.

Because of that floor joists did not lose their flame retardant.

And you do of course realize that ALL the columns are much thicker on the 11th floor as compared to the 80th?

Probably a bunch of other factors I haven't mentioned.

Fie protection was still intact on the beams exposed to a mere fire.

For the airliner 'accident' the initial impact followed by the blast of the explosion of fuel 'blew off' much of the sprayer asbestos that was on the steel members.

 Quoting: Dr. House

Only the sections surounding the actual impact and were the actual fuel explosion were taking place,

below that,, say 10 storys below it would not have been damaged, and yet no fires (even uncoated) that could have damaged the steel so much that it would give way below 10 storys ,,the beams would have been cool down there and strong enough to hold up the upper sections ,

how do you explain the waving people in the big hole ? how could they withstand the heat and melting beams you are talking about --as the heat still travel upwards,,,

it would have been extremely hot there in that hole if the fires were enough hot to sustain steel damage as you say , please tell me that

Because when the plane hit the North Tower on 9/11, it blew the fireproofing off of the steal beams. The 1975 fire never blew the fireproofing off the beams. So it never collapsed because the beams were protected.
