Anybody watching the nikkei? dropping steadily today

Yikes. I checked 10 minutes after open, but it looked tame so I didn't look. If the Nikkei doesn't get the kick up into the afternoon break, I'll be worried for the morning.

Yes, I have been watching all the asian markets. Slow steady slide downwards.

Also, US futures were well over 100, now they are at 16. Precious metals are lower, the dollar is rising. If the trends hold from last week, that means the DOW should be down. (I'm not going to guess how far - enough ridiculous predictions around here)

BTW, Nikkei was closed down two days last week - why?

Nope, G20 is nuzzling others nut sacks, they are planning on 'new measures' whatever the fuck that means. They are going to draw in all the suckers they can before the crash.

They are the ones to set the tone for this first day of the week. All other major markets (futures) are struggling to stay in the green, looking at Asia and the IMF/ECB on Monday.

If the ECB fails to get their members to pour in more billions in this ocean of monopoly money, it can go really fast globally. Even if they do succeed, it will just be another temporary band aid. Trust is gone, buyers are gone, people getting fed up.

Sad but true.
