I am not from NZ. I am living here temporary, I also noticed how ridiculously bright the sun is here compared to europe.

I thought this is because of the ozone hole.

Maybe you become more aware while the majority prefers watching football or their favorite soap on the tellie?

Yeah but I mean it's recent, the sun wasn't always this insanely bright.

Well it happened around the same time I stopped watching television so I guess you're right, everyone here just watches Rugby and they don't care about much else. But wow, this is a startling comment coming from someone who lives in China.

That's what I thought, but like I said, a lot of people are noticing the same things too without me mentioning anything to them. My Gradndma keeps saying the sun is a lot whiter and stronger than she remembers.

Same here, I can't go outside without getting burned.

Already for some 10years by now.... I'm a Dutchy ....far from proud of that though with a few exceptions... The opposite is more likely.

lol, i just randomly blurted out to my mom... that the sun is so bright nowadays it hurts my eyes. She thought I was insane. Ofc she was wearing shades :\ . This past year just seems like one big blur to me... Like time is going faster and faster... I know this is normal with age. I think ascension time is coming soon.

I know exactly how you feel, I feel like im tumbling through time, and things that seem very recent turn out to have happened months ago. I finished school last year and the other day I found my school bag sitting next to my bed, covered in dust and completely untouched. Time just seems to be moving faster and faster.

To me it seems like there was a shift that began to be actually felt and seen in around the years of 1986-1990....then there was a fizzle off in 1990-1991..
In one of these summers I was cleaning the car out in our driveway which is and has always been paved all the way up to the house and circles back out...

But what little time I was out side cleaning the inside of the vehicle I got the worst sunburn I have ever had..in all my life...it only got the shoulder and it never blistered it instead was sores that scabbed like cold sores on the mouth...it was dry burns in circular spots all over that area..
I was sitting on a pew in church about 2 weeks later and had on a white blouse...and some one came up to me and said you are bleeding through your shirt..your back is bleeding..

And it was I must have when reaching for a hymn book busted open the tops of my shoulders..even when this healed it left spots there even today they scared...like cigar burns..

Every thing just went on as normal but seamed lessened in the fiery sun that year..

But it picked back up with raging strenght actually I do not think it went away it only folded in and out with peaks and troughs that ranged from blizzards to freaky thunder and electrical storms in late January that would shake homes...to fields being blighted out and burned only in certain locations of the fields.....to bats in groves beating themselves to death on the side of homes trying to fly through the house as if it was not there...all kinds of crazy things happening but ...

A little hear a little there a little everywhere..


Then in 1998-1999-2000 it got ridiculous...crazy as in insane at the things that we were seeing...happen...brown outs crazy lights ...crazy weather...damages and losses that were adding up big time they were stacking little by little...but exploded at this point by flooding and mountain slides and breaks....grounds breaking open..oil like substance floating op top of the water then when the water soaked into the ground....it grew black slime every where animals started dieing with mouth ulcerations and through rot from the ..ulcerations nothing could help not laser surgery.. no grafting.. not burning with silver nitrate... nothing could stop the eating away of their throats and mouths....we stopped trying and just had them euthanized as son as we would find such..and they were house pets.

Water changing in content fast like the water tables just dropped out and bottomed into tapping another source....that was not even the same water that had been there for like 30-35 years..

Yet since 2007-2008-2009-2010-2011 it has not let up it has been brutal.....freak sudden temperate spikes up to 113 degrees of arid blistering heat...the sun burned not the heat that was hot but the sun contact burned..trees plants skin...

Skin lesions were common to be seeing...as well as melanoma on the rise but even worse now seeing the rarer form of skin cancer even worse than melanoma...come up like a wart or mole can even be purple colored...but it is deadly....Merkel cell carcinoma..

I have even seen a woman scalped from these lesions and no way to put an entire scalp back on top of the woman's head it was a stinking oozing non-healing lesion...of the entire top of the head...some lost their noses some ears...

Even the animals began losing their ears and noses to the same lesions...and they were house pets...even black colored and furred..made no difference ....some people were tattooing their pets noses black to keep them safe which was stupid.....the animals would be scarred from the burns of the sun on their noses and ears and even shoulder blades...

Oh yes it is a change of changes and it is not one that hit here and now but has been ongoing for decades...and it only gets worse....

Decaying sidings and paints that protect outside metals damaging woods mortars...it is hell down here...on planet earth and just keeps getting hotter and hotter with the stingy afflictions....just because it is not attacking my nation or state does not mean somebody else is not being paid some type of hell out there..somewhere.....just look and you will find some place where they are getting hell unleashed on them...

It is just that in these days we now can track people and places better with internet and such as blogs and twitters tweeter and everything in between ...we can see what they are seeing and hear what they say is at their neck of their woods..

Yeah it is. Its also worse because we have so little pollution here as well. Smog helps to block out the sun.

i know right, im in texas and we broke the record of how many days of 100+ weather we have ever had .

Most likely that the grass is as green in Holland as it's in Nieuw Zeeland. I still kept contact there but not many of these contacts like my opinion. They even blank me full stop since a long time already now. Rather put their heads in the sand for the storm that is going to come in the hope it's all not true perhaps. That ignorance seems to be everywhere the same though..... Maybe in Iceland that they are a bit better informed now and Greece perhaps. first the shit needs to hit the fan before they get their lazy arrogant/ignorant asses out of the chair.
