I agree. Mine bitches because he's supposed to pay $500/mo. Well, school/daycare alone costs that much. How about his share of her housing, utilities, food, clothing, medical, etc? He claims he should pay much less than that per month because he rarely sees her (which is by his own choice by the way.) He does not understand that TIME IS MONEY. If I'm putting in more than 50% of the time, then he should be putting in more than 50% of the costs. Most guys do not get this simple concept. How many days of work have they missed because of a sick child or doctor/dentist appointments. All of that adds up. He refuses to help with tuition because he claims he didn't agree to it (although, he signed the paperwork for the school). Yet, he sends his other child to private school without that child's mother even working. So, he's paying 100% of that kids tuition and none on the another? And, supporting a grown person who is perfectly capable of supporting herself. Don't ever tell my kid you can't afford something for her when you are solely supporting another child and a grown person.
