smart meter question
im looking for that video that shows how smart meters can monitor what items you have running in your house. whether its a microwave or a vibrator. they know the electrical signature of all electrical devices.

And dose any one know if running your shit through a line conditioner would counteract a smart meter.

Nope! they are still capable of "smart reading" your consumption signature!

Even if you dont believe it, the best and effective way to counter measure the smart device its wrapping the dam thing with aluminum foil to block the RF signal they broadcast.

The "Company" still going to send a guy to read the counters on the device, and will prob rip off the Foil, but as the foil its really cheap, you just have to wrap again and again..

The "Smart" funtion only works with the RF signal broadcasted over the air. If you block that signal you disable the "smart" funtion as they stop from transmitting. (but still use as a metering device like the old good meter)

Re: smart meter question
We got a "choice" here in Maine. Get the smart meter for free or keep the old one, pay a 1 time $40.00 for having/keeping it, and pay an additional $15.00 p/month for an employee to come out and read it. Some "choice" huh?

Ban guns to "save the children" but killing them in the womb is totally cool......I see; it makes perfect sense now.

Re: smart meter question
Yeah thats crazy shit, them fukrs shouldnt be able to do this.

I was under the assumption that they could read the feedback of the electrical draw your house is creating. Hence if you ran shit through a line conditioner there wouldnt be any feedback, right?

Any ways, I was thinkn that you could wrap the meter with something but they will rip it off.

If your meter is attached to your house you may be able to build a little bird house over it, lines with copper foil.... hahah yeah.. fuk em.

Re: smart meter question
Here is a hypothetical situation. Please do not attempt this. I am presenting this idea for discussion only.

Lets say you had an old microwave oven.
Lets say that you defeated/bypassed the door safety switch and removed the door.
Lets say that you took the microwave oven and put it over your smart meter (maybe using a ladder if needed)
Lets say that you hit the button to turn on the microwave for 10 seconds and then ran away.
What would happen to the electronics in the smart meter?
Would it be fried?
If not what would happen with a 30 seconds cook?

Please discuss. Again, do not attempt to do this.

From what I have been told....smart meters only monitor your power usage and cannot be used to turn off your power. So....if your smart meter becomes dumb you will still have power to your home.

The only new about the smart meter its a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) That run the SMART part of the meter device.

If you FRY the electronics, the old wheels and clok work still operational. That is pretty much and Amperimeter run mechanically, so even you FRY the smart meter, the old analog/mechanical meter still works fine!

Prob. you will get a replacement piece and charged you with
40 US$ on the next bill.

That's the least of your worries.

Search how to make a home made ground penetrating radar using copper wires, plastic tubing, and a laptop...

That's how they SEE you walking around in your home. All those copper wires. Smart meters with a MAC address. They just network right in, throw down the computer onto the wiring, and walla, they can watch you doing it in the bedroom.
Cheers!!!! Now say nice gubberment...

But don't be scurrd... LOL
I love physics. It bonds us eternally, it's what makes our computers work, it's what's in my morning cup of coffee, it's the thing that keeps the universe from vanishing due to lack of belief...
