Contrary to your "retort" Jesus rose from the dead. The Romans did everything in their power to stop it. Murdered people who witnessed and claimed his resurrection.

The way he is described to have looked is the way other normal people looked in his day. Most men had long hair and wore simple cloaks. Sorry my friend I will have to disagree with you here. They all didn't look the same in his day. He was a Nazarene, they don't cut their hair or shave or trim their beards. This would apply to these days if he were walking the earth in the physical as God commanded Joseph and Mary to raise him as a Nazarene.
