There is something that has been concerning me for several days.

On this seismograph for Oxford in the South Island, it really looks like volcanic activity.

I don't think a South Island seismo should have a signal that looks like this on it.

You can see the regular quakes, with the red lines through them, but the other stuff on there looks more like what we see on the North Island seismo's.

Have any Kiwi's seen this before in the South Island ?

Here is Ruapehu's seismo for today,with a similar signal on it:
(Unfortunately the signals will have rolled off the top by the time most of u see them.)
