they've finally reported on all the shaking...it's been going on for like a week though! i felt something really tiny near army bay like 2 weeks ago so i looked it up, doesn't auckland normally have no eqs at all? [ link to www.stuff.co.nz] hello schlopo, Man, they are reporting like 4 quakes! Did you see the listings of this mornings quakes in the posts above. There were 42 today before 11am! Mostly north island. Auckland does get the odd quake. But i have my eye on northland, something is going on up there.. I do remember, a few months ago an auckland GLPer said he and his wife often felt rumbling when in bed at night. And at that time there was something going on up north too. It was noticeable at the time on the seismo's and the volcano graphs for several weeks. There were some big pacific and kermadec quakes, and the graphs settled down after that. maybe there is a big kermadec quake on the way again..
