I check for news on Sharon often.

An article I read about a very loved Rabbi who reportedly left a note just before his death claiming that Jesus was their missed savior also a coming prophecy would soon unfold shorthly after Ariel Sharon's death.

I've seen this before! VERY interesting. I also check from time to time if he's still around!

People in vegetative states tend to just hang on for a long time. Look at Sunny Von Bulow. She was brain dead for over 30 years before she died a year or so ago.

That sculpture of Ariel is creepy though.

My own theory as to why he's still alive?

Because the poison induced stroke he had, caused by rogue elements within Mossad, failed to kill him. See, the minute Sharon started talking sense about getting out of the West Bank and letting the Palestinians finally have their country, this is what happened to him. Before that he was about as extreme as anyone on the Israeli side, 1/2 responsible for the Second Intifada (Arafat was also 1/2 responsible, IMO).

As to why they haven't pulled the plug on him in the hospital? Probably because his family refuses to. Also, I don't know what the laws about such stuff is in Israel, so maybe they can't. Religious based laws could get in the way if they have them on this issue.

On the time line I seemed to have popped over from, Ariel Sharon DIED back then. I wonder why this time line has him sort of revived?

I was glad he died since we've got similar names.Thankfully I have another last name. I just didn't feel he exemplified the best in humanity.
