Why is this important?

1) Rotation of sun about barycenter is related to formation of sunspots and solar flare activity.

· Sun at Max and Min distance from barycenter (Saturn and Jupiter aligned), solar flare and sunspot activity

very high (about once per 11 years).

· Sun between max and min distance to barycenter (Saturn and Jupiter not aligned), solar flare and sunspot activity low.

2) Sunspot and solar flare activity influences strength of solar wind (which bombards Earth)

3) Fluctuations in strength of solar wind affect Earth climate (e.g. length of growing season).

The barycenter is not a single point in the Sun. Because the Sun is a rotating gaseous sphere, the barycenter forms a vertical, cylindrical "sleeve" that is partially inside and outside the main solar body. All of the planets have such a "sleeve," one inside the other, depending on their relative mass and the location of their barycenters. The particular sleeve representing the mass of Jupiter intersects the solar surface at 35.9 degrees North and South. This is precisely where sunspot and flare activity begin and end during each 11 year cycle.


Scientists have noted that when Jupiter and Saturn are aligned, on the same side of the Sun, the solar activity is at its maximum; when they are on opposite sides of the Sun the solar activity is at its minimum.

These cylinders are usually quite orderly because the planets adhere to a narrow plane, called the ecliptic which resembles a thin plate extending from the equator of the Sun. The planets hang out here because (in simple terms) this is the zone where the gravitation of the system is the strongest. (see below)

But nature is never perfect. The Sun rotates at a slight angle (7.25 degrees), much as our Earth does. As it wobbles, it tilts the sleeves, causing them to clash with each other and eventually disrupt the surface. This disturbance, to put it simply, works its way to the surface and erupts in sun spots and solar flares.

Let me tell you folks something here: GLP turns us into these "shills" we lambast so much. Ya know why? `Cuz none of this ever comes true and we lose faith in the establishment. We're day two into all the calamity and "three days of darkness" that we've been reading about over the summer. You all suck! Suck! At predicting events.

It will be just under the surface of the sun, pointed right at us with significant torques applied by the distribution of the other planets.


If each planet creates a barycenter sheath in the sun, you can imagine the wobbles and crossings during this crooked cross alignment...vert: saturn/sun/earth/jupiter hor: mars/sun/merc/venus/pluto

Neptune is waiting to see what happens and Uranus is just hanging out at any passers by as usual...

*sigh* I know. And here's the kicker that turns my first statement to mush for me: I've had dreams of calamity happening after a certain age, and I will turn that "age" the day before October 28th. Call it a premonition or prognosis of sorts, but I can't deny it either.
