When he picks himself up, if he still feels that way, we will dicuss it again. (Repeat as necessary.) All these big government judges that think they can legislate from the bench need to be sent packing. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. "America is at that awkward stage. The cat goes down and sniffs the cows face sometimes, but otherwise no issue. I will say when I milk my cow though I tend to boil it just in case, but that is my business. And if I want a cow in my basement, what is that to anyone else!! Last Edited by atomic811 on 09/29/2011 05:27 PM My Blog [link to brianunderwood.blogspot.com] My video [link to blip.tv] |

What if I said "The constitution says I have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I have the right to life, and I have to eat food. I should be free to grow it. I have liberty so I should be able to grow food. To get food I must grow it. Growing it makes me happy, therefore is a pursuit of happiness." |

There is nothing about it in our Constituition. I am a strict conservative constructionist btw. So unless the Constitution says otherwise, we have a plethora of rights. |

Quoting: Suffering Through Temptation LINK: [link to nonais.org] Appalling. From the article: "It seems Judge Fiedler is saying it’s not a “fundamental right,” but rather a right granted us by the state." This is a fundamental ERROR by the judge as our rights as stated in the Declaration of Independence are INALIENABLE RIGHTS GRANTED BY OUR CREATOR (whatever we conceive that to be, but certainly something above and beyond mortal men). We the People are the ones who create and design the State and its' laws - it is OUR creature to control, not the reverse. We have to INSIST that all of these things that courts are now declaring as "privileges" are actually OUR RIGHTS, which we require to pursue life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This "judge" should be removed from office immediately as he understands nothing of either general law, constitutional law, or...cows. |

Dr. House User ID: 1527778 United States 09/29/2011 05:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The entire issue with this is that the people that "Own" the cow, have it 'co-mingled' with commercial cows...They are 'boarding' the cow at a 'Commercial Dairy Farm'... No can do in WI... Build yourself a barn on your own land, milk the cow yourself, and there is no issue... Again, much ado about nothing... That's not the issue at all. The issue is whether or not government has the privilege of telling us where we can park our fucking cows. It's none of their business. Actually it is 'our' business - the general public's business. You have a cow brought in and sharing space with commercial cows, you 'lose' certain rights, such as the right to NOT vaccinate the cow against stuff since a (one) infected cow could readily spread disease to the calves and other cattle. Same thing applies in boarding horses or other creatures. If you want to store an animal with other people's animals, then you have to be socially reproducible. Like these parents who feel its perfectly ok for them to not stop the spread of disease by not vaccinating their kids, but they still want their kid in public school, in the public in general. A kid with say whooping cough can readily transmit that for a week BEFORE his or her first symptoms appear. That means every baby the kid walks past in a grocery store is being exposed. Babies DIE from whooping cough and are too young for the first vaccine. It is this sort of social consequences few people take into consideration when dealing with 'My Rights'. If we are going to live in a society, sharing a place with millions, billions of other people, then we need to start thinking about the rights of everyone else. In the case of cattle, your vaccinated, unregulated cow can lead to severe problems with the commercial cow. That will turn around and affect many others. You want a cow and want to drink raw milk, fine - Buy a farm and raise the cow on YOUR land. Sinkhole list: Thread: Sinkholes Updated 28 Dec 2010 find a sinkhole, add it to this thread, please. Watch the vid, and read the ruling... The idiots got 'caught' cuz they were spreading disease through unpasteurized milk... [link to thefoodsafetylawyer.com] You are an hopeless idiot. S H I LL. Yet I see you can not dispute that these farmers made 35 people sick by illegally selling unpasteurized milk... How many people have giant corporations made sick with their products around the world? How much life have they destroyed? Is their property seized? Is their livelihood destroyed? No, it's not. At worst they pay a fine, which is more than in their ability to pay. If these farmers made people sick with their milk, they should pay for that. But that doesn't mean that NO ONE can ever sell raw milk again as relative to the volume of sales, the rate of sickness is apparently quite low. We have far more advanced ideas of hygiene, when we want to use them, than our ancestors, and I think most farmers are perfectly capable of producing healthful AND unpasteurized mllk, which the public can consume at its risk. If the individual farmers fail in this, they should be prosecuted AS individuals. One thing that liberty means is being able to take a risk if you want to. |
