Satellite TV Disruptions Due To Solar Activity Between Now and October 15th!

I work in technical support for DTV and was sent out an briefing email concerning outages due to solar activity. I figured it was GLP worthy and decided to paste in a paragraph that was sent out....

Between 9/28/11 and 10/15/11, solar outages will affect programming on DIRECTV. These outages may appear light at the beginning of the window date, but the severity of disruption will increase during the peak of the window date, and will decrease towards the latter part of the window date. The solar outage may affect multiple programs simultaneously. Customers may experience signal degradation/FF/PIX. The broadcast center will attempt to place the “solar outage” slide on air during prolonged outages.
