I'm just under 400 miles from Vancouver and my computer kept crashing/power loss for no reason a couple hours ago.

k so he's goin home radios are still down....they said there was a breach...idk thats all they told him...sorry i cant be of more help...ill be talking to him more when he gets home so if theres anything else ill let you know...until then mods feel free to take this off the global pin i just wanted to know if anyone else had anyother information

dude, i'm in the other vancouver south of you in the states [think portland, oregon]. i've had piss poor reception on my phone, dropped calls and i keep getting artifacts on my monitor ocasionaly. i work grave and have been noticing whispy... faint light clouds? [plasma?] when checking out the sky on my smoke breaks. i think this could definately be flare related.

anyhoo, just thought ya might want to know there is weird stuff going on bout 200 miles south of you to.

Computer systems on cranes could get messed up by lightning strikes, which you would know about, or maybe somebody doing some welding and grounding out on the crane.

Maybe somehow a charge is building up on the gantry and giving power surges to the computers?

We have been sitting at active to unsettled periods of geomagnetic activity. I know some people were posting on ears ringing or drop in pressure as these waves continue to race around earth slowing down different rates. Maybe this energy effects computers when given a certain harmonic just like how it is audible.

Nothing unusual. I am assuming this is in the Vancouver Terminal (there are three major terminals in the lower mainland, ie "vancouver").

That shut down parts of downtown and the east end (where the Vancouver port is) for over 48 hours. The fire damaged Telus and Shaw (communications) fibre banks as well. The infrastructure is so old there its surprising this sort of thing doesn't happen more often. Sure you can pull all the new CAT6E cable you want, but if its through compromised duct work, it can be prone to failure. Brownouts are common on some east Hastings buildings as well. I was once in Harbour Centre when the power went out to the whole building for 3 minutes, no one knew why, but was attributed to an old Hydro transformer melting down (because of old faulty infrastructural).

Nothing weird has been happening in Vancouver and area, well besides the usual gang shootings and such. Hold on to your panties, no doom on the radar right now.
