Is anyone else noticing a lot of fungus or mold patches in their yard early in the A.M.? Effect of RADIATION?

I seem to remember (from girls scouts 35 years ago) that fungus grows on the north side of trees. (if its cloudy you can tell direction when lost in the woods)
Quoting: momma coop You mean moss......... and I am aware of it. This bright white fungus appeared from nothing to an 8"X2ft patch in 4 DAYS. It is not your usual rippled 1/2 mushroom looking thing either. Looks like it was painted on very thick with a textured roller. aahh ok. My mother has that white fungus on the oak trees in her yard.
