Jesus... Well, one could expect not to badmouth people who are in the same line of work, especially cops. I mean, maybe if we paid them more, there wouldn't be so many disgruntled police officers who batter peaceful-protesting citizens. Amirite?  They made the choice. They know what they are gonna make going in. They take a vow to PROTECT and SERVE. Just so you know...in my family we have had: One State Trooper 2 chiefs of Police and my mother was the dispatcher for them for 15 yrs. I know first hand that there are good and bad. The problem is the bad is usually trickled down and if you try to fight them you loose. But I also witnessed a lot of irony. One example is being at the FOP with my uncle and the rest of the family watching the chicago superbowl, drinking and partying. Then after it was over, following my uncle (driving in his squad car, mind you) to another bar to finish off the night then driving home! That was my first taste of the hypocrisy in the PD.
