Sir Phydeau User ID: 960398 United States 09/30/2011 02:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yeah, this one is quite similar to Sunshine. EDIT TO ADD: Not in plot, but both kinda "feel" the same, if you know what I mean. Last Edited by Sir Phydeau on 09/30/2011 02:37 AM "When the facts change, I change my mind. Event Horizon and Dark City ( Matrix is Dark City dumbed down for the masses), the 13th Floor is pretty cool too. Whatever you do stay away from Solaris, a bigger pile of steaming crap has never been filmed. This movie commits the unforgivable sin of being BORING!!! |

Sir Phydeau User ID: 960398 United States 09/30/2011 04:16 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Definitely one that makes you think. Not much on the cinematography or action, but this is a dialogue intensive movie that delivers. "When the facts change, I change my mind. What do you do, sir?" — John M. While investigating Halley's Comet, the crew of the space shuttle Churchill finds a 150-mile long spaceship hidden in the corona of the comet. Upon entering the alien spacecraft, the crew finds hundreds of dead and shrivelled bat-like creatures and three naked humanoid bodies (two male and one female) in suspended animation within glass coffin-like containers. The crew recovers the three aliens and begins the return trip to Earth. [link to en.wikipedia.org] |

Also 12 monkeys ... classic. Cube, also brilliant but are in fact three movies, Cube, Hypercube and Cube Zero (I think, not sure about the last one) Last Edited by Brussel Sprouts are bitter on 09/30/2011 04:43 AM |
