It seems strange to me how this whole affair was handled by the British police and judicial system. She punched a policeman and endangered the motoring public, yet was released after less than one day? After she killed a man, both the defense and prosecution seemed to be looking for ways to make the story explainable and hoping it would go away. Could the government know what was going on, be shocked that a government secret was "out" and quietly have begun a cover-up?
