"Hoped-for" might be a little strong since it embodies more emotion than I usually exhibit. I do take some small pleasure when I can elicit any proof that mankind is worthy. It is what I argue on behalf of mankind. Now, acceptance of mankind by those above might stir me into the "hoped-for" category.
