They are correct. We are like cells in the body of Christ. It's not that there are many paths to the same God. There aren't. But there are many starting points - one for every person. Christianity just happens to be the most popular one because it is the one with the most convincing evidence for the supernatural - that is, a person that rose from the dead. This is the entry point for many, and their faith brings then the spirit of God, witch furthers their conviction. But the spirit of God is mercyfull, so much so that anyone can come to the knowledge of God. This is in the Bible. A cell doesn't have to know or agree with the story of the body. |

A beautiful grey cat with sky blue eyes lay in a basket with kittens. I leaned in and the mother cat pressed its nose to mine. Short sentences appeared in my mind, each like little messages. One fragmented sentence included "world-changer" and "world transform" and another fragmented sentence included "in three days time", they were all simple details, a few fragment sentences, maybe 10-11 or so to give me the correct idea of what she was trying to get across with the least amount of communication. There were other messages but they were more personal and unrelated to this thread. : P When I woke up I thought about what I read here, since I have the stupid lil hard ball under my skin behind my right ear only I figured I'd play along with this thread and humor with this interesting detail. Hope to hear some comments, ones that aren't like uh, I don't know, too out there? |
