David means Beloved. YAHSHUA is the heavenly King David and the Beloved of YAH. The earthly King David was a sinful man as r the rest of us. He was privileged to be given the songs of YAH and YAHSHUA which r the actual prayers of YAHSHUA given a thousand years before He entered His creation as the Son of Man and Son of YAH. King David was not the Son of Man, one of his offspring was.
the Son of Man is YAHSHUA as He often referred to Himself. YAHSHUA is also the heavenly King David in Whom the prophecies and promises r fulfilled.
3:7 “To the angel of the assembly in Philadelphia write:
“He Who is Holy, He who is True, He Who has the key of David, He who opens and no one can shut, and Who shuts and no one opens, says these things:
5:1 I saw, in the right hand of Him Who sat on the throne, a book written inside and outside, sealed shut with seven seals. 5:2 I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?” 5:3 No one in heaven above, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book, or to look in it. 5:4 And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look in it. 5:5 One of the elders said to me, “Don’t weep. Behold, the Lion Who is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome; He Who opens the book and its seven seals.” 5:6 I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of YAH, sent out into all the earth. 5:7 Then He came, and He took it out of the right hand of Him Who sat on the throne. 5:8 Now when He had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 5:9 They sang a new song, saying,
“You are worthy to take the book,
and to open its seals:
for You were killed,
and bought us for YAH with Your blood,
out of every tribe, language, people, and nation,
5:10 and made us kings and priests to our YAH,
and we will reign on earth.”
5:11 I saw, and I heard something like a voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousands of ten thousands, and thousands of thousands; 5:12 saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb Who has been killed to receive the power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing!”
Get it right, study a little:
Luk 20:41 Jesus asked them, "How can it be said that the Messiah will be the descendant of David?
Luk 20:42 For David himself says in the book of Psalms, 'The Lord said to my Lord: Sit here at my right side
Luk 20:43 until I put your enemies as a footstool under your feet.'
Luk 20:44 David called him 'Lord'; how, then, can the Messiah be David's descendant?"
BTW - I think the head of the Hydra(Serpent) is being stepped on (footstool)? by the Lion's paw (Lion of Leo) (Lion of Judah) near the Sextant Urania? That is where I found the sign of the Son of Man in Google Sky [link to www.google.com
as recorded in Matthew as well...
22:41 Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, YAHSHUA asked them a question, 22:42 saying, “What do you think of the Messiah? Whose Son is He?”
They said to Him, “Of David.”
22:43 He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call him 'Adown, saying,
22:44 ‘YHVH said to My 'Adown,
sit on My right hand,
until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet?’*
22:45 “If then David calls Him 'Adown, how is He his Son?”
22:46 No one was able to answer Him a word, neither did any man dare ask Him any more questions from that day forth.
This is a quote from Psalm 110 which follows showing Who is talking and about Whom. as YAHSHUA tells us David was speaking the the Spirit as has been pointed out in a previous post.
(Spirit quotes Father to Son)
110:1 YHVH says to my 'Adown, “Sit at My right hand,
until I make Your enemies Your footstool for Your feet.”
(Spirit to Son)
110:2 YHVH will send forth
the rod of Your strength out of Zion.
Rule in the midst of Your enemies.
110:3 Your people offer themselves willingly in
the day of Your power, in holy array.
Out of the womb of the morning,
You have the dew of Your youth.
(Spirit quotes Father to Son)
110:4 YHVH has sworn, and will not change His mind:
“You are a Priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”
110:5 The 'Adonay is at Your right hand.
He will crush kings in the day of His wrath.
110:6 He will judge among the nations.
He will heap up dead bodies.
He will crush the ruler of the whole earth.
110:7 He will drink of the brook in the way;
therefore He will lift up His head.
the other verses in the Psalm prove this is true as we know that YAHSHUA is the "Priest forever in the order of Melchizedek” as Hebrews explains in depth. so it is the Spirit speaking in the Psalm to YAHSHUA the Son. so the Father in the 1st verse says to the Son "Sit at My right hand..."
From an earthly standpoint YAHSHUA Messiah is in the line of David through bloodline relationship and geneology as presented in Matthew and Luke. But the truth is He is the Son of YAH which no other man is. During YAHSHUA's ministry people called Him the Son of David often in Scripture even as they praised Him when He entered Jerusalam and He never rejected the title and it is His in fulfillment of all the promises and covenants made to David concerning a Son Who would rule the world and all nations. YAHSHUA is the fulfillment of all things. He is the Son of YAH and has the Highest titles of anyone ever born of a woman. He was pointing this out to His challengers who were out to kill Him in these passages. it is very sad that people cannot grasp this simply amazing truth and ignore the entire testimony of Scripture of Who YAHSHUA is.
