can someone please take a minute to explain the stock market situation?
what exactly does it mean that the DOW is down 250 points right now? what would a "collapse" look like? what is a collapse? the US dollar value is zero? what would this look like in our country the day it happens? 7 days? 30 days?

because i understand a collapse of the current financial structure WILL happen and its likely beginning to take its last breathe within the next 30-60 days. so i was hoping someone could put into perspective what exactly are the dynamics of what is going on economics wise at the moment .

thanks!

I think that we can all reasonably conclude that it is fucked, but is it fucked because of incompetence, or is it fucked for a specific, nefarious purpose?

They want you to invest by overpaying to buy into a hyped up losing proposition, they take your money and buy real supplies for their nation, and leave you eventually with worthless paper.
You then kill yourself, and the govt or banks reposses your property for themselves and does what it want with it.
Actually everything you have that you make payements on will be repossessed, and all your alleged govt services and investments are kept by them as well

That's about it

It's about a way to keep the monehy for themselves and get rid of those that arent chosen to rule

Best advice is to not try and time the market, and don't invest what you can't afford to lose...if it crashes then the whole world economy is fucked anyway, and if not you might increase your wealth...just stick to your monthly drafts and forget about it...

it means the square root of bugger all that the Dow is down 100, 200, or 300, unless you're a day trader or cashing in your stocks for retirement today. or you're a news outlet that needs to fill some airtime with doom.

the rest of the world carries on circling the sun. in a weeks time it will be back up to 11000, in a month down to 10500, in a year it could be 14056 points or higher. the daily movementsare just the result of manipulations by those trying to make a few million $ day trading billions of assets. most companies are fairly sound and will in the future be better off than today with stronger sales and growth than this year.

A colapse is not the dollar at zero. Capitulation will occur when it is clear to all that you need to exit dollars and US stocks to preserve your capital.

Currently the dollar buys oil, has the worlds strongest army behind it, and has the support of international banksters (the Fed).

Euro zone inverstors are moving to dollars for safety (lol).

If the dollar loses reserve status, dollars fly to Euros for safety, the international banksters flood the market devaluing, or a military engagement against a capable enemy occurs, the colapse could be rapidly accelerated.

I believe we are on a long slow downward slide that may last a years, not a sudden colapse in a few weeks. & buy on the dips.

peace

Didnt help a thing, all stock markets go bust, if they restart they restart with a clean slate.
Stock market is the very engine of inflation, so even when it comes back, whatever you may squeeze out is worth less in real terms. It is just a ponzi scheme wagering you dont have the brains to say away, it makes money out of promises, and in the end all it gives to the majority are promises.
The whole trick now is to get you be beleive it will aways be there and will always come back, regardless that there is nop infrastructure anymore and nothing of value is made or sold from the US to make an 'honest' profit.

Right now the Euro is collapsing in slow motion, which is causing the dollar index to go up.

When countries start leaving the Euro, and using their own currencies again, then the US dollar will collapse.

Currently we have trillion of dollars in swap lines with European countries. Basically, they give us Euros and we give them dollars, and then promise to hold the Euros for 3 months. In 3 months there may not be a Euro, then all those dollars coming rushing home. That's when hyperinflation hit.

Maybe, but the money of a bankrupt country is worth nothing and the nation is over 200 trillion in debt. Just for comparison, the city of flint michigan is underfunded for it's pensions by the tune of $8000,00 PER RESIDENT and that's just for the underfunded portion of city pensions. IT is exactly the stock market underperformance when compared to predicted perpetual increases that caused the problem, as well as looting and mismanagement, but this same pattern is likely in over 90% of every pension situation in the nation, and there is far worse, including the union pensions and their militancy being directed towards nonunion households.
Money tends to become worthless when basketball amreicans and their union brothers are hunting the taxpayer to make up for their lack or service to the entitlement community, especially when the gummint gives it support in that thinking

Re: can someone please take a minute to explain the stock market situation?
OP, the stock market is like a giant straw, sucking wealth up from the producers to the manipulators. It works on greed. Heres an example;

Someone comes into some money, either through dumb luck or by hard work. Now they decide to "play" the market, not realizing the house always wins. The big money can always short and drive down the price, corner the market, by back the assets they sold at a profit, then resell ad infinitum!

It's an old,old game.

Now we see an awakening, perhaps if enough producers get out the elite will finally crash themselves out of power, but not too likely, the have huge reserves.

When someone comes into some money, they would be far better suited to invest in something real, like a business that provide a neccessary service. That way they can employ someone, provide for society and minimize their risk.

Playing the greed game with the big boys is a serious mistake.

Current Dow price support is very manipulated. I intend to buy stocks on dips this month. The manipulation should continue to artificially raise prices.

And that's if you use various IOU's from the public to the public as money in the bank. All the doles are unfunded,
17 trillion is less than a tenth of the estimated real debt for unfunded or underfunded mandates and agovt pensions and bennies of all sorts.
If you count the hundreds and more of special bonds that replaced the SS money and other things spent on other fraudulent endevours, feel free to ignore this message and enjoy your matrix
